A new month is upon us, good thing is its getting warmer outside and that means closer to show season!! I did manage to get Tina's Mustang back together, but the things we were wanting to do have to be shelved for a while. Lots of personal stuff going on, and we will leave it at that. As for my car, hopefully the weather will cooperate and I can fire it up this weekend. (Fingers crossed!!)
We have a HUGE announcement coming up soon. I cant say what it is for sure yet. WHEN its time everyone will be presently surprised (hahaha)..
Well that's all I have for now, check back soon.
Quick update... I got Tina's Mustang fired up and running for the 2024 season. I went to fire my car up, and let the battery charge almost 12-15 hours. Went to fire it, and dead.... So have a new XS Power battery ordered, and should be here this week. THEN I can finally smell some race fuel!!!
3/15/24
World of Wheels was a blast as always!! Big thanks go out to Jason for the tickets, and hanging out with the Disturbin Tha Peace crew. Going to the show really inspired me to be sure to have the car done to take it next year. I realize its been since 2004 since I have done an ISCA show, it might be a good change of pace.
No new news on the vehicles. I am hoping if itis semi decent out Sunday, Il get the trailer open, and see what all is going on in there. As for Tina's Mustang, we are still waiting on things. Hopefully things start rolling in, and I can get started on it.
The 2024 flyer is up on the "Events" page Kayleigh (KB Designz) did an AWESOME job on it!! I think its our best flyer out of the past 23 years. Check it out and send the pre-registration in.
That's all I have for now... Work beckons!!!
2/12/24
February is here!! We are closer to spring/and warmer weather!! Really not much to talk about this month. Things are going well with the show set up. Goody bags are going to be outrageous as always.. Just ready to get going on the vehicles for the summer..
Hopefully will have more news next month. Check back!!
1/13/24
Here it is 2024!! A new year, means a new event for us!! So just like the past 23 years. I have started the planning process for this years event. With the contacts we met at PRI, I have already had a good response to this years show.
I personally am getting really excited for this spring, summer, & fall events. I have to get the trailer done on the inside, and get the car going in the spring. Get Tina's Mustang back together. Then it will be time to go kick some ass!! We (Tina n I) want to start hitting different shows this year. We went to a few different ones last year, and did really well. This year, we want to keep that going...
Started sending emails out for the show this week. The response has been awesome already!! Cant wait to start getting stuff in!!!
We were also asked to do the "downtown cruise nights' again this year. They start up in May and run through Sept. So that will be fun this year..
Well that's pretty much all I have for now. Hopefully next month I will have a bunch more to talk about...
12/30/23
Almost the end of 2023... It was an "ok" year. Nothing spectacular to speak of. Now on to 2024... Lets kick its ass!!!
Let me see where I left off at the beginning of the month. PRI was great as always. Made tons of contacts, and talked with quite a few places about the show...
Lots of work (at work) none on any of the vehicles (yet)... Soon hopefully it will start warming up a bit more than what it has been..
What else.... Oh Christmas!! Christmas was great. Getting together with family, and eating tons!! Tina n I managed to get away a few days to go to the new "casino" in South Bend, Ind. That one or even the one in New Buffalo Michigan are very classy. Highly recommend, if your into that sorta thang... I like going to get away from the "everyday". I am not much of a gambler, I will put a few bucks in a machine and see what I can get. Nothing serious..
That's pretty much all I have for now.. Check back after the first of the year... Everyone have a good new year, be safe. have fun, and do not forget bail money!! Hahahaha
12/4/23
Just received a text on some news that we (as a club) have been waiting for for a few years. VP Rick got his new (to him) kidney at 3:30 this morning. All I know is that this news is so great to hear for him and Jackie!! Rick has been on this long road for a few years now, and its finally time he gets his time to shine!! We as a club are very proud of him, the dedication and everything that he has endured the past few years. It will definitely be a banner Christmas around the club house..
Lets see what else is happening...
Tina and I went to County Market the day after Thanksgiving to ring the bell for the Salvation Army. There was a mix up in their scheduling, and double booked. So unfortunately we didn't get to this year. Well there is always next year for that.
PRI is this weekend in Indy.. Man we cant wait!!! If you never have been, your missing out.. I'm sure Il post more about PRI after we get home.
All I have for now.. Stop back by..
11/13/23
Wow it seems like forever since I posted anything here on the club site. Actually its been a minute or two. Not a lot has been going on. Got the vehicles put away for the "winter slumber" even though its currently in the 60's and sunny outside. I just hope it goes by quick, and we don't get dumped on late in the season.
Tina n I do have PRI coming up in December in Indy. As I have said before its one of our favorite things to do. I say that for the fact of we don't have to load up anything, no cleaning, and we get to see and hang out with the best of the automotive industry. So we always look forward to that. Also we (Tina n I) will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Thanksgiving weekend. Its a great cause, and we are ecstatic to do our part.
Tina's Mustang is gonna have some great changes this winter, and its gonna be a MAJOR improvement to the car!! Lets just hope everything turns out better than we have planned.
I am kicking around the idea of possibly going to Chicago World of Wheels in March. Its been since 2004 since I competed in an ISCA Event. It just depends on work, and how "determined" I get towards it. There are some things I'd like to change to the car before then. Again it depends on the work schedule.
Well that's all I have for this month. Stop back by after Thanksgiving and see if anything new is posted...
10/10/23
Another month has flown by, and I feel like I have got nothing accomplished with any project. Working these crazy hours, weekends plus the time change/getting colder coming up fast. Really screws up a lot of things.
One thing I did get started was priming the inside of the new trailer. I have about half of it edged out on the floor, and all of it along the ceiling. I was really hoping that I would of gotten farther along, but stuff happens.
I was telling Tina yesterday/last night that we need to start thinking about putting the cars away for the winter. She wants to do 1 more show (if possible) then put it away. I really need to wipe the Trans Am down and cover it up for winter. Hers will need a full detail before its bed time. The plan is to not drive the Bronco, or my F-250 this winter. So those will need detailed before being parked. Especially the Bronco.. Its really bad.. My truck could use a good polish before sitting, but I honestly don't for see that happening.
Well as I wait for Tina to get off work, I should go do my "learning" for work.. STAY TUNED!!
9/26/23
Wow this month is flying by fast!!! Pretty soon everyone will be putting their vehicles in the winter hibernation, and then either rebuilding/changing, or adding to what they already have done. I know my list keeps growing daily (HAHAHA)
Personally I bought a new enclosed trailer for the car. The one I have now is a 1997, and still is in good shape, but its also showing wear and tear on it. So it was time to upgrade. I am anxious to pull the car with it. I got a "V" nose trailer and from the little way I pulled it home empty, it was "string straight". The process of getting the inside primed and painted has started already (plus where I plan on putting all the Pontiac and Trans Am banners/posters I have). Tina found on Amazon checkerboard flooring for trailers. Getting a new winch/battery. power jack, sway bar and turnbuckle system are in the process as I type this.
Besides being a "V" nose trailer, it has an "escape door" on the left hand side. I always wanted one of them in my old one. I think I am gonna like it when I am firing the car, or letting it air out in there when its hot outside.
In club news, there is really not much to talk about, since the season is slowly coming to a close. Tina went to Bolingbrook (IL) last Saturday for a show there, and brought home a 1st Place!! I'm so proud of her and how well she has done this summer with her Mustang. That win made #7 (out of 10 shows) she placed at this year. She has kicked my butt for sure trophy wise. I have only won 4 (out of 6 shows).
Well best get to it... Check back soon!
9/5/23
Tina n I went to Streator for the Dream Machines Annual Show and Cruise Night last Saturday, It was an awesome time as usual. Tina placed 2nd in her class, and I placed 1st in mine. It was good to get to hang with Jeremy & Justin. They brought their uncle Scott's GTO to the show. Scott passed away a year ago, and he was one of the founding members of the club. Its great that Jeremy is getting it out and seen again.
Yesterday we took a drive up to Rockford for a Labor Day Show there. The show was small, but had some really badass vehicles there. Tina won "Best Modern Muscle Mustang". Beating out the local Mustang club there. I am so proud of her!!
All I have for now... Best get back at it...
8/25/23
What an amazing few weeks this has been!! Tina and I went over to Peoria 2 weeks ago for Animosity's "All Or Nothing #8" Event held inside the Peoria Civic Center. We both placed, and I won "Best Engine". Then It was major crunch time for the show this last Sunday. The show was so laid back and casual. I can honestly say it was the best event we have ever had out of the past 22 years.
Jeff and Randy did great serving the best food and music at any event in Central Illinois. Tina, Rick, Mike, Kayleigh, Tony, Sue and Morgan made everything run so "smooooove" with the registration table, raffles, awards, set up and tear down. I am so proud to have them just as excited about this event as I am.
I can honestly say I am still in awe about the whole day, and that this high will be with me for quite a while.
8/4/23
16 DAYS TILL THE SHOW!! Yeah I'm nervous as hell. I always get this way before the event, so you would think I'd be use to it. After 22 years the butterflies feel like bats in my gut, even though I know that everything is perfect. Its like watching your child grow up. You want them to grow and be their own person, but you also want to guide them and show them the proper way in life.
Well lets see what all has been going on around here.. Show things (HAHAHA) seriously Tina n I have had the cars out a few times since the last post. We had planned on going up to Martin, Michigan for the NMCA/NMRA Show there. Things got crazy busy around here and had to cancel that trip. So we took both cars to Colfax to a show there (closer to home). Tina won "Best of Show" and I won "Best Custom". The next day we went to Wilmington to the "Catfish Days" Show. I have a lot to say about this event but most of all is FUCK YOUR CLUB & YOUR FAKE ASS EVENT...
Last weekend we went to Peotone for their event. Nice small event, the classes sucked but was good to get out. Last Sunday we drove up to Sycamore for the "Turning Back Time" Show. Let me tell you this event is HUGE!!! We arrived around 9:30 am and Tina's number was 623!!! There was well over 1000 vehicles there. It was a great event..
Well I hear the UPS n FedEx trucks outside. They probably hate me by now for all the stuff we have gotten for the show... I'm off to do show stuff...
7/16/23
As we are into the middle of July, I want to say that the summer is flying by!!! Let me see if I can get everyone caught up on what all is going on around here.
Tina n I took her Mustang to Lyons Car Show a few weekends ago. Let me say that show is HUGE!!! For a local event it was rather surprising. Well Tina's class was 2015-2020. After everything was said n done she placed 3rd with a score of 99.5 (that's out of 100!) I would like to know what placed second and first (for my own knowledge) but with that quality that was there... I am not complaining about her getting 3rd place.
Last night was the local cruise night downtown Pontiac. It was a decent turnout for the threat of rain. Its good to see the people from out of town come and enjoy the cruise night..
Let me see... The car show stuff is rolling in fast. Got a few BIG boxes this past weekend, so that means the goody bags will have to be brought current and possibly finished for this 2023 year..
Tina n I as going to Martin, Michigan this next weekend for NMRA vs NMCA. Ive always wanted to go to it since its start. So we decided since we are both off... "Why Not"... Now I get to try the new detail spray I got for her car. Cant wait!!!
Think that's pretty much all I have (for now) Stop by later on an see how Martin Michigan goes...
6/11/23
Hey everyone, how's things going?? Things have been kind of slow around here as of late. I had rotator cuff surgery back in the end of May. Between Tina having both her knees operated on, and my shoulder surgery. Things are really slow (hahahaha)
One thing I do want to talk about is, the monthly Downtown Cruise Nights here in Pontiac. We had our first one in May, and I must say it was GREAT!! Despite a few hiccups with the set up of it, everything ran smooth and we had a AWESOME turnout!! The next one is this next weekend (Fathers Day Weekend). Hope to have even more people show up. Been keeping an eye on the weather, and it looks to be sunny and mid 70's for the weekend.
Despite both Tina n I being laid up. We managed to get out to one show in Barrington a few weeks ago. It was nice to get out and see some different vehicles.
Well my pain is kicking in, so I'm off to take some meds an relax.. Hope to see everyone out next Saturday at the Cruise night Downtown Pontiac...
5/8/23
Another NMCA/NMRA Event in the books... Was a great weekend in St Louis (despite the drive home weather) but it was a great weekend all around. The best thing about the whole weekend was the fact that Tina n I came out of the hotel on Saturday morning to go to the track. There was a note on her windshield, it said "Hi I'm Tim. I work for NITTO Tire, and we would lover to have your car in our booth at the show this weekend." We were TOTALLLLLLLY BLOWN AWAY!!! Tina called him and got it set up, got to the track and parked at the booth. Tim told me that people were checking out her car more than the display truck they have.
I am so proud of all of this. After everything was wrapping up with the event. Tim told us that any event that NITTO is at, and we want to park in the booth. Just let him know a day or so ahead of time and he will set it up.
Now May 20th is the monthly cruise in downtown Pontiac. We are running it this year, so come out and have a good time with Midwest Thunder....
5/1/23
Happy May Everyone!! We have so much going on around here, I don't know where to even start.. Well this is the week of the NMCA vs NMRA in St Louis. The "Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing". Got Tina's Mustang all fired up and going. I detailed the outside Saturday, and man the shine on that paint is flawless!! Just have to get the oil changed and checked over for the trip on Friday.
But the biggest news is Liz from the City of Pontiac emailed me and asked if we as a club would be interested in hosting the monthly local cruise nights downtown. Of course I jumped at it like a fat kid on a seesaw.. So as soon as the schedule arrives I will post it here on the site for everyone to see.
Ok looks like I better get back to work, then gonna get going on cleaning the motor and interior in Tina's car tonight. Well at least one of the two things.. Out...
4/24/23
About a week n a half till St Louis NMCA vs NMRA... Crunch time has damn near officially started!! Have to get Tina's Mustang fired up and cleaned for the show. I got the Trans Am fired up and running last Sunday. Pretty good job for not running since last October (HA!).
Went to start Tina's Mustang and the battery was dead. Grabbed the charger and the charger went by the wayside... So had to order a new one off Amazon. Just have to get her car fired up n cleaned, packed. Then its StL bound!!!
4/4/23
WOW What a storm this morning!!! Drove to work in a downpour with hail.... Not really happy bout that at all!! I am not sure if I have any damage or not (didn't have time to look). So anyway that is everything going on here. Have not done a lot with the show stuff, or with the cars in general. Waiting for the weather to straighten out so I can get out in the garage. Need to swap my bumpers on the truck. I bought new ones a while ago, but work and everyday life took over. Need to fire up Tina's Mustang, and my Trans Am also. First show of the year is coming up in May. NMCA/NMRA in St Louis!!
Speaking of that, Tina n I had a blast at World of Wheels in Chicago a few weeks ago. Jason was awesome for getting us in... "Hopefully" next year I will get all my stuff out of storage and possibly do the show.
All I have now, lets all hope for warmer weather and get out in the shops!!
3/2/23
World of Wheels (Chicago) week. Man I remember getting so worked up about this when I was doing the "points" for the Eastern Championship, FUN times for sure!! The little detail cleaning, and making sure the display was just right.. Oh yeah I traveled many miles doing the ISCA Events in 2000/2001.
Ok on to club things... Things are going good. Flyer is made, and have passed it along to everyone. Everyone is sharing it where ever they can. We really want to make this event big this year. I say that now, until I have to actually judge the vehicles (hahaha!!)
The goody bags are started and all nice n full. Now just waiting on more items to roll in. Like usual most places wait till a few weeks before the event to send things. So it makes it really crazy at the homestead at that time...
2/10/23
How's things been going with everyone? Around here things are going great!! Lots of things are rolling in for the goody bags this year. I am getting really excited at some of the places that have donated to them, and or a raffle/give away prizes.
Tina had knee surgery last week, and has to go in in a few weeks to have the other done. So things are going slow with her Mustang. Plus the weather outside doesn't help much at all.
That's pretty much all I have for now. I have started a 2023 Show Calendar, and dates are filling up fast!! I remember back in the day. There was a guy from the Peoria area who made a calendar. It was like 10 pages full, and he charged $10-15 for it. When I was starting out that was like my bible. I would study that thing for hours on end. Now with the whole "social media" thing I can still sit for hours and study but now, you can actually see an "attached flyer" for the event. Or go to their "website" and look at past pictures of their events. Myself, I like that.
Well Guess I better get at it... Starting bags tomorrow (Possibly tonight if I feel froggy). I've already drug the totes down from the spare room. Maybe I can get most of my bar room back in time for the Super Bowl on Sunday. Check back soon!!!
1/25/23
Wow the month has flown by!!!! That's always a good thing when your wanting warm weather. Got things rolling with the car show for 2023. Flyer is made, quite a few goody bags sponsors have been emailed and have even received some things. Now just have to start planning the small things like awards, and the like. After the bags are all filled and the trophies are unloaded the final announcement of the day is made. Its time to relax for a few months. Because I know (as usual) that the "itch" will start inside of me around Christmas time to get the show going... Hope everyone enjoys the rest of this snowy day outside... I have work to do...
1/9/23
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Hope everyone had a great one... Really not much to talk about here, just getting ready for warmer weather so we can get out in the shop and get things done...
Been kicking around ideas for the 23 show. Need to get together and discuss ideas, and come up with some type of plan...
Well its all I have, Stop by and keep informed I'm out...
12/8/22
PRI THIS WEEKEND!! Cant wait to get away and go hang out with some great people.. This event is probably Tina, and my most favorite event to go to. Go see the newest things out on the market, and talk with the manufactures who make the products.
Tina got an early Christmas present the other day. I ordered her SoundSkinz Pro Sound Control Kit. The audio part of her build is beginning slowly. Now just have to take everything apart, and line the floors, panels, headliner. THEN get all the components of the system. Then start building... That is what I enjoy most I think is the building. Unfortunately I wont be doing much of that. I HATE wiring anything. So we are going to farm that out, along with building the sub box and amp rack. HUGE SHOUT OUT to Dennis of SoundSkinz, ArcAudio, Toby and Greg at Mobile Audio for all of this.
Anyway have a good Christmas, and New Years... Stay Safe!!!
11/23/22
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!! Wish everyone have a good "turkey day" tomorrow, and even better if your football team is playing (and winning).. Remember that we will be at County Market on Saturday ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. Come one out, walk off some of them "calories" and make a donation to a great cause!!
15 DAYS TILL PRI! PRI is the Professional Race Industry, and they have a HUGE show in Indy. Tina nd I go every year, and have a blast!! If there is an idea you have for your vehicle, but are not quite sure on how to go about it. I'm 99.9% sure someone at PRI can get you on the right path. Its a great time with awesome vendors.. With that said, got a few things ordered for my truck, and Tina's Mustang. It seems like everything I want to buy for my Trans Am is either "Out Of Stock" or no longer made. So things will have to wait on that..
Anyway Have a good Thanksgiving, n will see you soon!!
11/1/22
First day of November, Last weekend Tina n I took the cars to "Top Fuel Saloon". Decent turnout for as small as the place is. Neither Tina or I brought home any awards, but it the show itself was a benefit to help the Veteran's Wall. So it goes to a great cause.
Thinking this coming weekend its time to put the cars away for the year. Id really like to go to the park and take some new pics. Haven't taken any (not at a show setting) since probably my HPP photoshoot in 2002-03. So weather depending that might be on the agenda first before they go away for the winter. I'd really like to get Tina's Mustang, and my car in one pic. Get it blown up and framed. Possibly maybe (fingers crossed) doing Tina's Mustang, my car and truck. THAT WOULD BE KICK ASS!!!! But Tina is out of State this weekend for a wedding, and I kind of doubt Mahle will be up to drive the truck n trailer to the park. (HAHAHAHA)
Well that's what we have going on here in our little corner of the world. Stay tuned for possible updated pics of the winter projects we have got planned...
10/4/22
Ahhh Fall is here.. That means the show season is winding down for the year fast. Granted Tina n I only got out a few times with her Mustang, and two times with my car. It was a decent summer over all, despite having to work almost every weekend.
Tina n I went to Chenoa on Saturday for a show there put on by the "Shop-N-Go". Carrie had a good turnout for the event, and the weather you couldn't ask for a better day!! I brought home "Best Modified GM", and "Best Of Show Modified". If your ever looking to get out of the house for a show. I highly recommend this one.
Now as I said before, fall is here and that means winter is right around the corner. So the "hibernation" of all the vehicles is shortly upon us. To Tina and myself that means planning and starting to gather parts and pieces for new modifications to our vehicles for 2023...
Hope everyone has a great Halloween, and hopefully we can get out for a few more events yet before the snow flies...
9/11/22
Sept 11 The day that will live in infamy for a lot of us. I remember I was recovering from rotator cuff surgery, and my mom was getting ready to go have her chemo treatment when the first tower got hit. I sat in awe as the news footage rolled in. When it was all said an done, 343 firefighters lost their lives and millions of lives changed that day.
Here we are after all the years still trying to get back to "normal" so to speak..
On a happier note, actually was able to get the car out and go to a show over Labor Day weekend. The BIG highlight of that event was Jeremy got Scott's GTO fired up and running and he brought it to the event. I cant express enough how happy it was to see it out, and to be able to park next to it. Felt like old times.
Tina n I are planning on going to the NMRA Ford Finals in Bowling Green Kentucky, coming up the end of the month. Then the season is pretty much over. Then the big plans for my car, and her Mustang kick in...
8/26/22
The 2022 show is OVER!! It was a great time had by all that's for sure. Congratulations to all the winners, thanks to "Smokin Joes" food for serving awesome things all day long. Real big thanks to Jeff and Dorothy for playing the great music all day and for being awesome at getting our give a ways out..
Most of all I want to thank the club members who worked tirelessly from set up to tear down, and made sacrifices. You guys really stepped up and made this year a kick ass event. Out of the past years, this year was by far the best!!!
8/16/22
5 Days till the show and we are ready!!! Lets get this Thunder Machine rolling!!!! I am so ready for the show, I cant even explain it. Every year I get a different feeling. I mean the first few years, I was nervous/stressing and all controlling. Then as the years pass, I learned to "let go some" and "what happens happens". Still having that "nervous" feeling in the pit of my gut at times. Now the past few years, its different. Its a nice calm feeling, knowing that this is what we created and it kicks major ass!!!
Glad we only have a few things left to do before Sunday. So lets take care of it!!!!
8/3/22
August is HERE!! Everything for the show is rolling faster than hell, and on a non stop course!! Got the awards all done, insurance is ordered, goody bags are pretty current and stuff is still rolling in for them. Same with the give away items, I do need to make a trip thru and get the local stuff, but otherwise. We are ready for this years event. Finally after 21 years, I think we got it right. Meaning I'm not stressing about this or that. I know its done, or almost done. It might be my old age (hahaha) or just the fact that we are that good. I'm sticking with whatever works..
So hope everyone comes out to the show, has something to eat at Brad's, walk around, listen to Jeff spin the best music and enjoy the beautiful vehicles in the park...
7/24/22
Wow July is about over, and I have been so busy I have not posted in a while.. Really not much to post, so I'm guessing that is why I have not. Things for the show are flowing along great. Trophies are ordered, and being made as I type this. The show insurance is getting set up as well. Only thing that is lacking at the moment are the goody bags. That is my doings, just have not had that time to take (yet) to catch them up. Maybe this week???
I do want to mention that we lost a former member this past week. Scott passed away last Monday. Scott and I had been friends for over 30 years. He helped build this club with me to what it is now. He was a member, and vice president during his time in the club. He will be missed greatly.
Ok all I have for now... Hope to see everyone at the show in August!!
7/3/22
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!!!
6/14/22
This month has been pretty productive so far. Josh n I went to the "Psycho Silo" for a truck show. Josh brought home "Best Jeep".. Big congrats to him on that win!!
Saturday is the last cruise night here in town. Kind of sad its over for the summer, but we are going to go support it and have a ball..
I got registered for DuQuoin Street Machine Nationals in 2 weeks. Kind of nervous, very excited, and bursting at the seams to get this circus on the road!!! Its going to be a blast. I attended back in the "day", Tina has never been. So this will be a shock to her system (hahaha). I say that because. She has never been to a huge National event like this before. Joliet NMCA/NMRA was big, but nothing like the Nats..
OK back to building these electric vehicles!!!!
5/29/22
The end of the month and everything is going well with the show. Had our meeting last night, and everyone had some great ideas for this year. Now to just get rolling with them.
Tina n I went to Madison, Illinois (St Louis) for the NMCA vs NMRA "Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing". I judged the car show aspect of it, and everything went great!! Good news is we get to run the whole event next year!!
Got everything done to Tina's Mustang (so far) for the season. Now its time to get going on my stuff!!
No big events coming up, a lot of local stuff happening in the area. Planning on hitting quite a few of them with her car, and possibly my truck.
All I got for now, check back soon!!!
5/2/22
Its FINALLY May!!! Happy to finally see warmer weather, and able to get outside and do things. Lets see if I can remember everything going on.
Tina and myself with club prospect Josh and his girlfriend Cam went to Colfax for their cruise in. We didn't bring home any awards, but it was awesome to get out and let Tina's Mustang run up n down the road.
Been extremely busy getting things finished on Tina's Mustang, and my truck for this season. Everything is shaping up awesome, and it looks to be one of the best yet. I also got the car fired up (first time this year) and let it run some. Do need to get fuel, and get it out of the trailer and clean it
In 10 days (10!!!!!) is the NMCA/NMRA Event in St Louis. Can't wait to head down and relax.... The best part is I get to judge the show aspect of the event.
The club is meeting this weekend (first time this year) to start hashing out car show plans. Hope everyone has a lot of ideas!!
Well its back to work!!! Hope to see everyone this summer!!!
4/5/22
April is here, so much closer to spring and summer!! The show planning is going awesome this year, no complaints (so far). Still a lot to plan and get going before too long.
Took parts to be painted yesterday, plus did some work on Tina's car over the weekend. Its going to be badass that's for sure. Also getting things going for my vehicles. My new hood is getting painted, ordered new "heavy duty" bumpers to replace the stock chrome ones. Plus whatever else I can think of beforehand.
All I have at the moment... Stay tuned for more
3/2/22
Hey its finally March! No more "Snowmageddon".. This means its closer to getting the vehicles out of storage and actually enjoying them for what we build them for.
Really not much to talk about club wise going on. Got the 22 flyer made, and everything is rolling with that. Have "goody bag" items rolling in slowly, but that's ok its early yet. Just waiting for warmer weather so I can get out in the shop and feel productive doing things on Tina's Mustang, or my car or truck.
Lots planned for everything around our compound with the upcoming show season coming up. Tina made out like a bandit at Christmas with the things for her car. (yeah I'm gonna be busy!!!). The stuff I have planned for my car and truck, is still in the planning stage. But I'm sure Il "go all out" real soon on both...
Have a great month everyone. Keep them warm thoughts coming, we wanna get them vehicles out an about. Check back soon and often for updates about things going on, and show information.
